Secondary Transactions, on Both Sides of the Trade.

Sell Side Securities™ connects holders of private-company shares with qualified buyers, and buyers with holders, through a confidential, relationship-led process.

For Shareholders and Buyers

Secondary transactions are our core business. Most of our work is with founders, employees and executives selling vested shares, and with accredited investors acquiring positions.

Sell Private Shares

For founders, employees and executives turning vested equity into liquidity before an IPO.

Acquire a Position

For accredited investors seeking access to shares in established private companies.

For Funds and Limited Partners

Venture and growth funds often hold value on paper long after their LPs expect cash. A secondary sale can turn part of that value into distributions.

Direct Secondaries

For funds selling portfolio-company shares to turn MOIC into DPI.

LP Stake Sales

For limited partners seeking liquidity from fund interests.

For Companies Raising Capital

The Sell Side Network™

For companies seeking $5M or more in private credit or private equity. We introduce companies to unaffiliated capital allocators and to partners who run capital raises and M&A processes. We don’t raise capital ourselves.

Who We Work With

Buyers of secondary shares look for scale, investor interest and a record they can evaluate. That’s why our secondary work focuses on companies valued at $500 million or more, with most of it above $1 billion, and on positions of $500,000 or more.

If your position falls below these thresholds, we’ll tell you so plainly. Buyers we work with must be accredited investors, and we prefer qualified purchasers.

Eligibility at a Glance

  • Company value $500M+ enterprise value; most of our work is above $1B
  • Position size $500K minimum
  • Fees Competitive with industry standards
